Lighthouse Health Landing Page

Turning an AI Generated Concept Into a Focused Lead Generation Experience

Challenge

Lighthouse Health came to Mass Media Designs with a specific goal: create a focused landing page that could help capitalize on upcoming publicity and turn interested visitors into potential leads.

The client had already done a significant amount of preparation before development began. He used AI to help develop the initial visual concept and layout direction, and also created draft copy and a 10 page Health Guide that would serve as the project’s lead magnet.

The challenge was taking those pieces and turning them into a polished, functional landing page that felt intentional, professional, and easy to navigate while keeping the experience focused on moving visitors toward the next step.

This wasn’t a traditional website project. It was a landing page designed for people who would already have some familiarity with Lighthouse Health through presentations and other marketing efforts.

That distinction shaped how the page was approached.

Starting With an AI Generated Concept

The client used AI to generate an initial visual concept for the landing page based on his ideas and a basic description of what he wanted.

He was clear from the beginning that the AI generated design was a starting point rather than a finished professional design. He asked for feedback on both the layout and the language and wanted the concept evaluated from a web and marketing perspective.

That gave me an opportunity to do more than simply recreate an AI generated design.

I used the concept as a starting point and evaluated how the layout, imagery, messaging, and calls to action would actually work for a real landing page.

The original structure had a solid foundation, but there were opportunities to make the experience more appropriate for the audience and the purpose of the page.

One of the first things we identified was the imagery.

The original imagery leaned more toward traditional financial planning and retirement marketing. For Lighthouse Health, the visual direction needed to communicate something different: health as a way to support the life people want to continue living.

That meant moving the visual emphasis toward people, experiences, and enjoying life rather than simply planning for retirement.

What I Noticed

One of the biggest things I noticed during the project was that the page had to balance a lot of information without becoming overwhelming.

The client’s copy was already relatively concise, which was a strong starting point. From a web perspective, keeping that information focused was important because a landing page can quickly become less effective when visitors are presented with too many decisions.

The messaging also needed to make the calls to action clearer.

For example, a button such as “Start Your Journey” can sound good from a branding perspective, but a visitor needs to understand what will actually happen when they click it.

Through the revisions, the calls to action became tied to a specific action: booking an appointment.

That gave the page a much clearer path from interest to action.

Building the Experience

I developed the landing page around the client’s content and AI generated starting concept while refining the structure for the web.

The page incorporated:

  • Focused landing page sections
  • Supporting imagery
  • Three-column informational content
  • A dedicated section explaining why Lighthouse Health was created
  • Strong visual messaging
  • Appointment booking calls to action
  • A downloadable Health Guide
  • Lead capture functionality
  • A small contact form
  • Responsive layout adjustments
  • Final content and spacing refinements

One of the final messaging elements was the statement:

Health isn’t the destination. Life Is.

The idea was to give that message enough visual weight to act as a transition between the informational content and the remainder of the page rather than letting it get lost within the body copy.

01

AI to Web

The client used AI to develop the initial visual concept. I took that starting point and translated it into a polished, functional landing page.

02

Lead Generation

The landing page was built around a clear marketing funnel, including appointment scheduling, a contact form, and a Health Guide lead magnet.

03

Refined Through Revisions

As content and direction evolved, I handled the layout, spacing, alignment, forms, messaging, and responsive refinements needed to bring everything together.

Creating the Lead Magnet Funnel

The Health Guide became an important part of the landing page strategy.

The client provided a completed 10 page PDF that visitors could request through the page.

Instead of simply placing a direct PDF link on the page, we built the experience around a lead capture form.

The visitor is prompted:

Thank you for your interest.

Where would you like us to send your FREE Health Guide?

They then provide their email address.

This turns the Health Guide from simply a downloadable resource into a potential lead generation opportunity for Lighthouse Health.

The client approved the automated process and the associated setup and ongoing maintenance.

The Details Matter

A significant part of the project was the refinement that happened after the initial build.

As content changed and new requests came in, I worked through individual layout issues, including paragraph alignment, spacing, column placement, form placement, and the positioning of the final calls to action.

One example involved restructuring a section so three statements could read as distinct ideas rather than one continuous paragraph:

Better information.

Better choices.

A stronger foundation for the years ahead.

Those small changes mattered because the goal wasn’t simply to fit the client’s words onto the page. It was to make the content easier to scan and give important messages room to stand on their own.

There was also a small contact form added to give visitors another way to reach out directly, with fields for basic contact information and a question.

Working Through a Moving Target

This project also required a lot of communication and attention to detail.

The client was actively developing and revising his materials while the landing page was being built. Copy, layout ideas, imagery, calls to action, the Health Guide, hosting, forms, and the lead capture process were all being worked through during the project.

Because the initial concept was AI generated, the project wasn’t about treating that first design as a finished blueprint. It became a collaborative process of evaluating what worked, identifying what needed to change, and translating the client’s ideas into something that would work in an actual browser.

That meant keeping track of individual content changes, making layout adjustments without disrupting other sections, troubleshooting issues as they appeared, and making sure the final page continued to work as a cohesive experience.

That is a big part of web development that isn’t always visible in the finished product.

One Page, One Clear Goal

This project was a good example of how much can be accomplished when the scope is clearly defined.

Rather than adding unnecessary pages or features, the focus stayed on creating one strong landing page that supported the campaign and gave visitors the information they needed.

That meant making decisions about what belonged on the page, how information should be presented, and how the visitor should move through the experience.

Built for Mobile Too

Mobile optimization was part of the project from the beginning.

The desktop layout could not simply be reduced to fit a smaller screen. Content, spacing, sizing, and page sections all needed to work together on mobile so the experience remained easy to read and navigate.

The finished landing page was designed to provide the same clear experience regardless of the device being used.

Result

The finished Lighthouse Health landing page gave the client a focused digital asset built around a specific marketing purpose.

The original deadline was two weeks. I completed the landing page in one day, including the mobile optimization, taking the project from initial concept and provided content to a finished, ready-to-use webpage well ahead of schedule.

My Role

I handled the WordPress development, page structure, responsive layout, content implementation, visual refinements, form placement, lead capture experience, spacing and alignment adjustments, and final revisions.

I also worked through the ongoing changes between the client’s AI generated starting concept and the finished page, helping translate an initial idea into a functional web experience.

Project Takeaway

What made this project interesting wasn’t simply building another landing page.

It was taking an idea that started with AI generated concepts, client supplied content, and an evolving vision and turning it into something functional.

The client brought the idea, the messaging, the Health Guide, and the initial AI generated visual direction. My job was to take those pieces and make them work together on the web.

That meant knowing when to follow the original direction, when to refine it, and when a small change in layout, spacing, imagery, or functionality could make the experience clearer.

For me, that’s where the real value of web development comes in.

It’s not just about making something look good.

It’s about making all the pieces work together.
